Metal Prints VS Metallic Prints
I have been asked about the difference between metal prints and metallic prints, so I thought it might be helpful to post that information here. A metal print is a high-quality image printed directly onto a solid aluminum sheet, offering durability and a sleek, modern appearance. On the other hand, a metallic print refers to a traditional photographic print on metallic paper, where the image is infused with a pearlescent finish, enhancing color vibrancy and creating a distintive reflective quality. While both methods involve metal elements, they differ in terms of the printing surface and the unique visual effects they impart to the final artwork.
